HOW DO I GET STARTED?

I am in the process of getting divorced, can you help with custody?

We accept HSA/FSA accounts, and all major credit cards. A credit card on file is required to book an appointment. Please note we do *not* accept cash.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Monday-Friday from 8am-8pm with limited Saturday appointments.

The frequency of appointments will be determined during the intake assessment. Generally, most of our clients start out with weekly appointments.

WHAT ARE YOUR OFFICE HOURS?

how often will my child meet with their therapist?

Confidentiality is very important in building a trusting relationship with any client. The therapist will determine what is needed for your child in terms of parental involvement. We operate under "what happens in therapy stays in therapy" with a few exceptions: 1. The patient discloses that they are harming themselves or are thinking of harming themselves, 2. The patient discloses they are being abused (physically, sexually or emotionally), 3. The patient discloses that they are thinking of harming someone else. We use a limited confidentiality agreement. This means that  we want caregivers to be part of the treatment process in some capacity, but they also need to understand that kids and teens need to feel that therapy is safe  (and like everything they say won’t go right back to their parents).

HOW DOES CONFIDENTIALITY WORK for kids & adolescents?

We require 24 business hours notice for cancellations.  If we are not given 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full session fee.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Follow-up sessions are 45-50 minutes. Intakes are 60 minutes for adolescents and 60 minutes  for children 9 and under

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF YOUR SESSIONS?

The length of time varies greatly between clients and is dependent on what issues they are working through, as well as how long they’d like to spend in therapy. Our goal is to get your child and/or family to a place where you are stable, empowered, and consistently applying tools to maintain everyone's mental health.

How long does therapy last?

Yes! We support parents of all genders through our sister practice, Therapy for Women. Please visit the link below to learn more!

I am a parent or am a young adult looking for my own therapy, can you help?

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

We are an out-of-network provider..All payments must be paid upfront and we can provide you with an invoice or superbill to get reimbursed from your insurance company. We recommend calling your insurance company directly to confirm your out-of-network coverage. Important questions to ask are, "What are my mental health benefits," "What is my deductible or what is my out-of-pocket max," and "Do you cover session code 90834?" Contact us directly for more guidance.
